(More customer reviews)Purchased new a year and a half ago, mounted it on a 30-06 BAR. First year, no problem. Three shots, three deer. The rifle was sighted in before deer season again last year. Eight point buck stops in the shooting lane 40 yards out. With only about 20 minutes of light left, I decide to take a neck shot so I don't have to go look for him. I hit 3 inches low, missing the bone. I managed to hit him twice more as he ran, and he went down; but it shattered an 18 year run of one-shot kills. Later in the season, I lost two does, both easy shots under 100 yards. This summer I took it off the BAR and put it on a Ruger mini-14 in .223. While trying to sight it in, I noticed the crosshairs had moved clock-wise about 5 degrees. Not good. Fpr the price it might be o.k. on a .17 or .22, but I can't recommend it for anything bigger.
